  • I'm installing a 95 dodge cummins 5.9 with 47re 4x4 into a 46 dodge power wagon. I'm using a stand alone engine harness , now I need a stand alone control for the transmission since I will not be running any factory wiring. Will this work to controll the transmission? And will I need anything else with it for it to operate correctly. Thank yiu

  • We are completing a swap of 96 12v and 47re into a 1990 350 1 ton dually. Would this be able to be wired into that old truck and control the overdrive and TCC? That is where we are stumped. Treading into uncharted territory for us farm mechanics. Truck will start and run now, has moved under its own power. We just want overdrive to work automatically like it did originally. Thank you,Ryan Miller

Yes, this should give you the transmission control you need.

  • Co-polit how does it work and how do I use it do I only use it when towing?

The ATS CoPilot provide you the ultimate in push-button control over when the torque converter locks up in your vehicle, allowing you to select the vehicle speed where the torque converter clutch will engage (lock up) and disengage. Your truck's factory programming doesn't initiate lock up until cruising speed and disengages lock up early under many conditions, inhibiting your truck's performance. The Commander and Co-Pilot resolve this issue by holding lock up offering better acceleration and cooler transmission running temperatures.

  • Will it work with out a ecm? Thanks

    No

  • I recently bought an ats stage 3 from you folks for my 01 dodge 3500. I’ve hooked up the copilot and doesn’t seam to do anything other than my converter won’t lock up at all. And when I shut the controller off I lose my speedometer. I’ve double checked all my connections and I don’t run any other programmer. Computer has never been touched. I’ve owned this truck since it was new. Any suggestions would be great.
