This pump is engineered to maintain fuel delivery well past the stock CP3's limitations at higher RPM's.   Stock CP3's have a hard time delivering fuel past 3,000 rpm's. That is not the case with this pump. An upgrade for anyone who wants to keep their truck around 500hp - 550hp range, or even just a stock pump replacement from failure.

Note: All S&S CP3 Pumps for Dodge Trucks are built from a 6.7 based pump. If you are installing these pumps on a 5.9 truck, some modification will need to be made to the stock fuel lines.

  • What is the advantage of this over a stock pump. And do you have to have bigger injectors

    It will deliver more fuel ,to the rail, than a standard CP3, which hits max delivery@3000 RPM’s.

  • Is this pump a drop in (no tuning) for the 03 trucks besides line re-routing? or Will I need the S&S 5.9 FCA since this pump is 6.7 based? Also is there a write up or guide on how to plumb the lines?

    No special tuning required. FCA will come with pump. No write up yet for the fuel lines.
