If your crankshaft has a groove worn into the sealing location, you will need a GG-16219 repair sleeve.

  • Please advise if the the red on the sealing edge (to the cover) of Cummins #3937111 crank seal, DOES, or DOES NOT require the additional application of a sealant such as Loctite 545 prior to installation in the cover.

    Yes, Loctite thread sealant 545 is suggested by Cummins.

  • My harmonic balancer does not have dial pin. Can I install it in any position

    TDC is recommended position.

  • Do I need the depth tool for this seal or is that only needed for the wear sleeve kit?
